Instructions:
The Workshop TMRF form can be used for ACM/SIG sponsored workshops held in conjunction with an approved ACM/SIG conference. Workshop Chair(s) budgeting funds for significant committee travel or proceedings beyond attendee handouts are required to file a full TMRF.
 
It is assumed that the workshop will have no (or minimal) fixed costs. (The workshop chair should contact the Parent Conference Chair for information on costs of meals and local arrangements.) Registration, local arrangements, and publicity will be handled through the parent conference. Workshops are required to utilize an ACM in-house bank account.
 
The basic service fee is a fee that must be budgeted for all ACM events. It is not a fee for service but the cost of doing business as part of a larger organization. This fee is allocated back to the sponsoring SIG(s).
 
Workshops that are not sponsored by the sponsor(s) of the parent conference or a subset thereof, are required to file a full TMRF.
 
The workshop chair should check with the sponsoring SIG(s) (http://www.acm.org/sigs) for specific SIG requirements.
 
Approvals Required:
Parent Conference Chair, Sponsoring SIG Chair (s) and ACM Headquarters
