Submitting ACM In-Cooperation TMRF
Please read before proceeding
Guidelines:
The ACM SIGs will consider cooperating with (lending their name to) conferences which are fully sponsored by other nonprofit incorporated organizations. This status is know as “in-cooperation ” and is appropriate when it will lead to enhanced visibility in the technical community, access to services of the sponsoring organization sometimes at reduced rates, and discounted rates for ACM/SIG members for conference registration and conference by-products.
To successfully submit a request for cooperation, the ACM In-Cooperation Technical Meeting Request Form (TMRF) must be completed electronically:
fill in General Conference Information,
attach a copy of the sponsoring organization’s Certificate of Insurance (COI),
read the ACM Resolution on Sponsorship of International Conferences relating to scientific freedom, and
submit a signed Statement of Understanding/Hold Harmless Clause
ACM sponsored conferences seeking cooperating status from other ACM sub-units do not need to submit an "In-cooperation TMRF". A request for cooperating status can be made when submitting the "Sponsored/Co-sponsored TMRF."
Approval Process:
ACM’s Department of SIG Services will review all submitted forms and secure approval for cooperating status from the requested SIGs. Official approval from ACM can take up to two weeks following the submission of all documents.
